The Charlotte Arts Journalism Alliance (CAJA) is excited to invite local freelancers and budding writers to our inaugural Charlotte Arts Journalism Conference.

If you enjoy the arts — dance, music, visual arts, theater, and architecture — and you enjoy writing, this conference is for you!

What:  Charlotte Arts Journalism Conference.

Who:  The Charlotte Arts Journalism Alliance (CAJA) and UNC- Charlotte.

For Whom:  Anybody interested in freelancing in Arts Journalism, from true beginners, to seasoned writers, wanting to learn to cover the Arts.

When:  Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Where:  Center City Building, 320 E. Ninth Street (at Brevard)

Cost:  $35 for the general public and $15 for students. (Students must show ID at check-in.)

*Includes breakfast scones & coffee, and lunch.
